Not In Our Neighborhood! Performance
Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 7 PM – 9:30 PM
Price: Pay What You Can (suggested donation of $10)
In 1924 William Francis (a lawyer who later became the U.S. Ambassador to Liberia) and his wife, Nellie (a civil rights activist), planned to move to a new home at 2092 Sargent Ave. Their plans were met with an outburst of racist activity including petitions, demonstrations, death threats, and eventually cross burnings.
Join us for this unique opportunity to see this bold new play on the same block as where the historic events took place. The 90 minute performance is followed by a Q&A with the playwright, director, cast and crew.
We are celebrating Resurrection Sunday and the beginning of the Easter season with food, friends, and fellowship! Join us for our Easter Breakfast at 8:30, and stick around for our Resurrection Sunday Worship Service at 10.
