Adam Brice

Co-Pastor

Adam Brice graduated from Indiana University in his home state and has spent time in campus ministry (the other UofM) and urban church planting. Adam has three grown children, and is married to Taina. In their downtime Adam and Taina love to cook and host meals, spend time outdoors hiking or paddling, and reading.

Dr. Stephen Beck

Co-Pastor

Dr. Stephen Beck has been married to Susan for 45 years, 4 married daughters and 11 grandchildren, is a PCA minister who grew up in Germany and Austria, has planted churches in the USA and Canada. He and Susan returned to Germany in 2005 to be professor of practical theology at the Giessen School of Theology (Freie Theologische Hochschule Giessen) and adjunct professor in church planting in other seminaries in Germany, France, Holland, USA. With students from the Giessen school he and Susan have planted numerous churches in Germany and coached church plants in other countries. Currently, Stephen and Susan reside much of the year near Toronto, Canada, from where they are establishing online church planter training for lay people creating missional and intercultural communities (i.e. churches) wherever they live and work. It is called the MosaiX Academy. Stephen is the academic director of the 28 teachers producing 40 video courses and weekly teacher-student online interaction with men and women around the world. He also functions as a pastor to pastors, who wish to turn their churches into urban intercultural, missional communities.

Hannah Cole

Hannah grew up “across the border” in Pardeeville, Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Northwestern, St. Paul in 2016 with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught for a few years and has since made a career change. She now works full time for U.S. Bank. She and her husband, Brendan, live in Bloomington with their German Shepherd.

Rudy Heuer

Rudy grew up in Greenfield Minnesota and went to college at Northwestern in St. Paul for piano performance. After college, his plan for a music career morphed into a military music career in the Marine Corps Band, Hawaii; and from there, the Lord called him into ministry. He moved to Philadelphia in 2019 to attend Westminster Seminary and intern at Tenth Presbyterian Church, and he is now completing his degree online through Reformed Theological Seminary while serving at CityLife Church in their native state!

Lani Giles

Lani graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire in 2009 with a Business Administration degree and a dance minor. She was introduced to CityLife in 2012 through her now Husband, Tyler. She became a member in 2014 and has served in many volunteer roles over the years. Lani has had a variety of jobs including managing the office at a large dance studio, working as a Paraprofessional at a local charter school, and some other random tid bits in between. Lani left the workforce in 2016 to be a mom and homemaker but has returned part time in 2022; six years and four kids later! Lani loves working behind the scenes and is on a constant quest to make things as efficient and beautiful as possible. She lives in Saint Paul with Tyler and their crew of little people. She loves hosting people in her home, running, knitting, baking bread, and spending as much time as she can with her growing family.

David is an problem-solver by day, and a neighborhood community advocate by night. Hailing from AZ, he has now planted himself at the Seed House community in East Phillips (Minneapolis) where he endeavors to work on his green thumb. He enjoys challenging the status quo, getting to know people, organizing community, serving others, and working on small teams.
